We pride ourselves on giving back to the community in any way that we can. Paws N Whiskers has spent a lot of time and money trying to assist with local charities and fundraisers, even creating our own. It is important to us to strive not only as a business, but as positive and outstanding community members.

In September 2018, we donated $1500 worth of pet care vouchers to the Iris Foundation, which focuses on women in the Southern Highlands community who have been affected by cancer. As soon as we heard about the fundraiser we knew we had to contribute and hopefully ease the burden of worrying about animals for these beautiful women

April 2018, a wonderful local women entered herself in the Dance For Cancer - Southern Highlands. Throughout her participation in the event, she had to fundraise and held local events, one of while had a raffle full of local goodies donated to her. Among those donations was a gift basket with $150 worth of dog toys and treats, as well as a $100 gift card for our services, we also attended her event to show our full support to her.

From June to August 2018 we participated in the RSPCA cupcake day to held raise funds for the continued work that the RSPCA NSW do. We held various events, threw a BBQ at the local dog park (centennial in Bowral), held a raffle with over 12 major prizes donated by other local businesses, and raised over our target of $1500

In February 2019 we collected donations of food and treats for the local animal shelter and the not for profit organisation that assists in funding them, we managed to provide them with treats, kibble, tinned food, and toys for the cats and dogs. As well as attending their 'Dogs Day Out' in April, providing donations and assisting in one of the market stalls.

August 2019 our team participated in Pawgust to assist with raising money for guide dogs Australia. We did this by walking our own dogs, not our clients. We wanted to ensure we were fundraising fairly and correctly, not by being paid at the same time!
